Why haven't I been paid for my rental yet?
Payments for reservations are released to you 14 days after the end of the tenant's trip. This waiting period ensures there are no ongoing disputes between you (as the owner or captain) and the renter or co-navigator. The exact timing for funds to reach your account depends on your selected payment method.
Possible reasons for payment delay
- Dispute: The reservation is currently under review by our dispute resolution team. We’re working closely with both parties to reach a fair outcome. Once resolved, the payout will be initiated.
- Bank account update: Ensure your bank account details are correctly entered in your boatUnity account. Log in, go to “Account” in the menu, then select “Payment Preferences” to add or update your payment method.
